Salmon in Class Room
To learn more about the water environment and the salmon fishery, children raise salmon fry in the classroom and then release them to begin their journey down the Columbia River.  The Richland Rod & Gun Club is one of the sponsors for this program and Club members volunteer to assist with the raising and release of the salmon fry.  The big event is the Salmon Summit where kids release their fish and participate in educational demonstrations and events.  The following photo are of the 2008 Salmon Summit.
