While standing on a high ridge, Rocky points to a

spot that is one mile from our camp.

In the other photo, on the opposite side of the

ridge, Rocky points to the bear's location 380

yards away when he took the shot. Had his shot

found the mark, it would have been a tough pack

out with the meat.
